Bright, bold colors on larger-than-life collages are the center of attention for Rebecca Goldberg’s new solo graphic design exhibition, “It’s Pop”, is a homage to Detroit and Michigan iconography. Goldberg flips logos with her own cheeky twist putting a regional touch on her parody of capitalism. The core of the show features logos that are recognizable enough to make local people smile and feel like they are in on the joke. Many of her works take the form of mass-produced items, created in limited editions. This curated arrangement of recognizable-yet-different work, advertised right in your face, establishes local resonances and generates a fun photo opportunity and media share.
 

The Avant Garden Collective is thrilled to present: “IT’S POP” the new solo exhibition by Rebecca Goldberg. “It’s Pop” opens with a preview on Thursday 4/20/23 (5pm-9pm) and opening reception Friday 4/21/23 (6pm-11pm) and Saturday 4/22/23 (12pm-6pm).
